This type of recognition gives is fantastic for Playa del Carmen as its demonstrates the friendliness of its citizens and highlight locals and residents as being friendly and cordial.
13 other Mexican cities are among the 40 named by Expedia, with Playa del Carmen on the top. Expedia explains that the region is characterized by the friendliness and warmth its people towards everyone being either locals or tourists. They mention its landscapes, natural wonders and traditional food. They explained that the 40 cities chosen were through Expedia users’ comments, taking factors into account such as customer service, hospitality, comfort and tranquility.
Expedia also mentioned that Playa del Carmen offers a pleasant balanced combination of relaxation and fun, making the experience of greater enjoyment. Mentioning that the area being surrounded by archaeological zones, which offers visitors a multitude of adventures.
